Singapore is an excellent destination for introducing children to international travel. It's easy to navigate, requires no visa, and has weather similar to home, meaning minimal adjustment is needed. The journey is also straightforward, with just a 2-hour flight. Moreover, Singapore's efficient public transportation and smooth sidewalks make it stroller-friendly. Open your world to new experiences with us. Here are two must-visit attractions on Sentosa Island that will make you want to pack your bags immediately. Click to book your flight

S.E.A. Aquarium

This Southeast Asian aquarium is the largest in the world and a must-visit for anyone traveling with children. Located in the Marine Life Park of Resorts World Sentosa, it houses over 100,000 marine animals across 800 species in 10 different zones.

Giant Aquarium Tunnel (40 meters long)

This massive tunnel makes visitors feel like they are swimming with marine life.

travel-story-3-0

Modern interactive technology makes the undersea world fascinating for visitors of all ages. Children can touch live starfish, adding an interactive element to their visit.

Shark Sea Zone

travel-story-4-0

This area features over 200 sharks, including endangered species like the scalloped hammerhead shark and the silver-tipped shark.

Ocean Journey Zone

Here, kids can see jellyfish up close, marveling at their translucent bodies reflecting the lights.

Universal Studios Singapore

This top-rated amusement park from Universal Studios, the only one in ASEAN that is a must-visit on many people's itineraries. Gother will take you on a zone-by-zone tour so you'll know if we have limited time, which zones and rides are best for kids...Let's fun!

New York Zone

The ambiance must match the zone's name perfectly. New York's aroma must be fully represented with brownstone buildings, various shops, row houses, and more. This zone is perfect for snapping pictures without restraint, no need to rest, just enjoy because it's so beautiful. The highlight ride in this zone is Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase (minimum height 92 cm). This ride takes us on a mission with the superheroes to bring back spaghetti to the world successfully. It's a kid-friendly ride, not too intense, just thrilling enough. Plus, it's a special ride exclusive to Universal Studios Singapore! So, don't miss out

Sci-Fi City

Next up, you'll encounter giant robot figures that everyone should be familiar with: TRANSFORMERS. This zone may not be suitable for young children or adults who aren't fond of intense experiences, as it's packed with thrilling rides. Among them is TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle (minimum height 102 cm), the world's first launched at Sentosa in Singapore and expanded worldwide due to its explosive popularity.

travel-story-7-0

Another thrilling highlight in this zone is the Battlestar Galactica: Human & Cylon roller coaster (minimum height 125 cm). It features two separate coaster tracks: 'Human' side offers a mild ride experience, while the 'Cylon' side provides a more intense, inverted coaster experience.

Ancient Egypt

travel-story-8-0

In this zone, the standout attraction is the Dark Ride Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster (minimum height 122 cm). Here, we venture into an ancient Egyptian tomb adventure that's as thrilling as Egypt itself, all without leaving Sentosa. For the little ones, head straight to Treasure Hunters (no height requirement), a gentle ride designed in a playful, child-friendly style. You'll ride in ancient vehicles through the winding paths of an ancient Egyptian forbidden excavation site, searching for hidden treasures.

The Lost World

A zone that kids will find incredibly exciting is where they can see full-scale dinosaurs. For those who love getting wet, I recommend Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure (minimum height 107 cm), essentially a river rafting adventure through twisting waterways where you'll encounter numerous dinosaurs and end with a light splash of water for added fun.

travel-story-9-0

Next up is Canopy Flyer (minimum height 92 cm), which takes us soaring above the prehistoric world. This ride is essentially a kid-friendly version of a roller coaster, enjoyable for both children and adults alike. You can enjoy breathtaking views of the entire Jurassic Park zone - it's a lot of fun!

Far Far Away

The fairy tale kingdom from the movie Shrek, featuring the big-hearted green giant. The highlight here is Puss In Boots’ Giant Journey, another roller coaster ride with a moderate thrill level, unique to USS. For slightly older kids, I highly recommend Battlestar Galactica: Human & Cylon (minimum height 100 cm), which is a must-try.

Hollywood Zone

This zone is indeed the first you encounter upon entering Universal's Sentosa location. I recommend saving this area for later to have time for souvenir shopping. It feels like walking along the vibrant, star-studded Hollywood Walk of Fame in LA, with characters appearing periodically to greet fans, especially the lively yellow minion, a favorite among kids, who interacts and entertains everyone. Additionally, characters from Kung Fu Panda also showcase and are available for playful photo opportunities.

To get to Sentosa Island, you can travel by both cable car and express services. For the cable car, take the MRT to Harbour Front station, Exit B, and follow signs to Harbour Front Centre. For the express service, head to Vivo City on Level 3.
